My name is Solette and I've been working at Duxton Dental as a Hygienist since November 2004. My position involves education of patients and evaluation of oral health.
Career History
I was born in Cape Town, South Africa and lived there for the first 22 years of my life with my parents and two older brothers. After completing my Diploma in Dental Hygiene and working for a couple of years, I decided to move to England for a while. Here I met my partner from Christchurch who managed to get me back to Christchurch after living in Ireland and Melbourne for a few years.
Qualifications
Diploma in Dental Hygiene, Tyberg Hospital, Stellenbosh University Diploma in First Aid and Level 4 Resuscitation Diploma in Intermediate to Advanced Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint Various other Dental Hygiene continuing Education Courses.
Interests
I consider myself very lucky to live in this beautiful country I can
now call home and love taking time out to enjoy the
outdoors with my partner James, two boys Alex and Tommy and dog, Oscar.
I also love painting in my spare time and enjoy
the company of my New Zealand friends.
