My role is that of an oral health educator and clinician.  I work with the dentists to improve oral health and help combat periodontal (gum) disease.  I assess and evaluate the periodontal tissue and provide preventative advice and care (including scaling and polishing of teeth ) as well as treatment of early periodontal disease.

I gain a lot of job satisfaction from being able to show people simple daily routines that can keep gums in optimal health and reduce the occurrence of decay.
