What are the Duxton Dental Invisalign Grants?
The Orthodontic Grants are two prizes of full Invisalign orthodontic treatment at Duxton Dental (Value $10,000). The prizes are awarded to two deserving students attending either:
Students can be nominated by friends, family, school or members of the community. The two winners are selected by our grant committee including Dr Grahame Dutton and Tara Barnett.
How does it work?
During the nomination period (August), we will be accepting applications for nominees. After applications close, the grant committee will select finalists to attend Duxton Dental for a complimentary orthodontic consultation and records( X-rays, Photos, 3D scan). Following this consultation, the committee will select the grant winners by the end of August. The winners will each receive full Invisalign Treatment including Retention. Who is eligible to enter?
Eligible students must be from Years 7 – 13 and currently enrolled at:
- St Bedes College
- Villa Maria
- St Thomas’s
- Marian College
- Catholic Cathedral College
What are we looking for in a nominee?
We are looking for deserving students who would benefit greatly from orthodontic treatment. In particular, we are looking for achievers. To assist our committee’s decision, you can provide information on the nomination form about any of the following:
Ideally, the nominee will excel in at least one of these key areas:
- Achievement in the arts or cultural activities
- Achievement in the sporting arena
- Academic achievements
- Community / charity involvement
Parents, guardians, whanau, teachers, other students and peers of the nominee are all welcome to submit nominations.
Include everything! The more great stuff you can tell us about your nominee, the better their chances of being selected for the grant. In the last box labelled “TELL US ANYTHING ELSE THAT WILL HELP” make sure you include anything you think is important for us to know about this nominee’s circumstances.
